Honeybee Yoga Studio is located on Dufferin County Road 124 – Ontario’s most closed winter highway due to intense whiteouts, drifts and accumulation!
Because of this, the studio will operate differently over the winter months. We are responsible not just for ensuring our driveway and parking area are clear, but that accumulation during class will not snow-in students. We often accumulate more than 6 inches per hour, some drifts increasing more than 12 inches per hour! 124 is plowed frequently and the base of our driveway can be three times the depth of that!
Additionally, road conditions can vary in Dufferin County and must also be safe for students’ travel. If you feel unsafe driving, please notify the studio as soon as possible, either by email to lindsay@honeybeeyogastudio.ca or via Facebook Messenger to the studio page.
Class cancellation process – class cancellations will be emailed to effected students no later than 2 hours prior to class. This means if you have a 5:30pm class, you will receive an email no later than 3:30pm indicating the class closure.
Class cancellation policy – if class is cancelled due to a road closure, inclement weather or unsafe driving conditions, your class cost is simply transferred to your next class or you are provided a refund, your choice.
