Our strict COVID-19 cleaning and sanitization protocols insure that we create a safe space for everyone to practice and to continue sharing the magic of yoga with the community. We reserve the right to ask students to leave if they are exhibiting symptoms or do not abide by the following protocols.
Please monitor your own health and do not attend the studio if you:
- Are feeling unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms,
- Have travelled in the last 14 days, or
- Have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
You must register for class prior to attending the studio. You must complete the COVID-19 Screening Form within 12 hours prior to attending the studio.
As Dufferin County is currently in “Stage Three”, classes may come indoors with min. 2 meters distance between students.
You will be asked to sanitize your hands upon entry to the studio. Hand sanitizer is available in the entrance area for your convenience.
Masks must be worn from your car to your mat. No exceptions. This studio is in my home and I must keep my family’s safety and health a priority. If you require a mask, please indicate upon booking, and a complimentary mask will be provided to you upon your arrival. Once on your mat, you may remove your mask.
Studio doors open 15 minutes prior to class and close promptly at class time. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class to get yourself settled and situated.
Please bring your own water bottle and leave all non-essential items (cell phone, wallet, purse) in your car.
When entering the studio space, please find an open practice area and place your mat directly behind your provided equipment. This is to ensure every mat is where it needs to be to maintain social distancing.
Props are available for student’s use in indoor classes. We offer two sized bolsters, two blocks, a mat, one strap, and two heavy cotton blankets for your practice. Restorative Yoga students will have four bolsters, two of each size as well as sandbags. We can safely offer these props because we are a teenie-tiny studio and can guarantee that we:
- Run a HEPA 99% Filter air purifier,
- Sanitize all vinyl-covered bolsters between each class,
- Wash all cotton blankets and straps after each use, and
- Sanitize all floors, mats, door hands, and touchable surfaces in the studio and entrance area before and after every class.
Should a student test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of attending a class, they must inform Honeybee Yoga Studio.
