Outdoor Class Information

Studio “doors” open 15 minutes prior to class time. Please allow yourself time to arrive, park, and get settled on your mat. Please leave all non-essential items in your car (cell phones!).

Parking: Please pull in to the furthest parking space so that other students can park behind you. All students leave at the same time, so no one will be blocked in.

Wind and Traffic Noise: Melancthon is known for it’s wind – that’s why there are all of the wind turbines! Classes are scheduled early in the morning and early evening to take advantage of the calmest skies. This also ensures we experience the least amount of airplane and road traffic noise as well. We have planted many trees along the perimeter of the property to block noise, but they are still tiny babies.

What You Need: Please bring your yoga mat and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water, a towel or blanket, and an extra sweater – whatever you require to complete your practice! (yoga mats are available to borrow upon request when registering for class)

Weather Policy: Class will run unless there is active substantial rain, wind, lightening and / or thunder. Note that I am only able to hold three students indoors. If the weather does not cooperate, the first three students registered will move indoors and those remaining may receive a refund or apply the class cost to the next class they would like to attend. I will reach out to students the Friday evening before or Tuesday morning if the forecast is calling for rain to confirm student’s wishes with the move indoors.

Bathroom Facilities: Available indoors.

Please do not hesitate to send us a message with any other questions or concerns you may have!
